KURTIS IN LONDON
Part 2 of the 4 part series.
(even though this is an Anarkali hehe)

George Shillibeer started operating a horse-drawn omnibus service from Paddington to the City of London. In the decades since their introduction, the red London bus has become a symbol of the city. The Black Cab, known as a Hackney, earned its name since the end of the second world war and also became quite famous in London.

I had to wear this beautiful Anarkali by theofficialyuva (www.yuva.my) and stand in front of the bus and sit in a Black Cab. I loved the colours and the way I could tie and tighten the waist. The material was also pretty solid so it gave me a great silhouette.

Thank you misteek_london for styling me and being my tour guide and making this shoot very London-esque.
Huge thank you to Daran Anna from photonimage_by_daran for all his hard work on one if the hottest days in London and making it super fun. The photos speak for themselves!

This shoot was 4 weeks post knee surgery, and I think I did pretty well.

The Trench Coat is a Kancheevaram Silk that was woven for me (because I really wanted this colour) by one of my favourites aaryanairdesigns .

sameenasofficial designed and tailored this Trench Coat after weeks of exchanging ideas.
(She tailored so many things for me, I blindly trusted her and was not disappointed 😍)

When you discover a new Saree brand and fall in love with their entire collection, you just have to do a Bridal shoot! Thank you sariculture for this divine Saree. My Dad’s reaction was priceless (when the only other time he complimented me was for my yellow Saree on my Wedding).

When siva_prakash_photography had this idea of the coloured background and florals and titles I was beyond excited. Whenever we think of Bridal shoots they do look Bridal or super traditional, I loved this fun concept for a change. Siva you smashed it!

Thank you sivahamy_ for styling me and assisting me. You ran around like a headless chicken and were so fun to be around. As if we knew each other for years!
